Until 01.15.2009

I haven't been going to Brussels (Belgium) for five years. This means five years without walks in this town nor feelings of this special atmosphere. You like and hate Brussels at the same time. This comes from the urban chaos : a mix of architectures at every street corners and a succession of crapy old buildings followed by a cold modern condo. And when you finally find a peaceful oasis, you realize that an ugly tower from the 50s stays just beside!

I did this slideshow after a recent trip to the Belgium capital, a place where my life changed deeply. The subject is a walk over and under Brussels, in the middle of a storm where human beings stay beside each other but without looking at each other. Some are in a hurry - I was like this five years ago - and others find a warm place to live or rest. I tried to fix these lifes and those hypothetic meetings with my camera. I used post-processing presets (black & white, cross processing,...) to emphase all these differences.
